If that title doesn't make any sense, I suggest you start here and then here. We got our money last Friday and now we're going to have some fun with it. In my post on Tuesday, the article talked about how helping others and charity have become something that we 'outsource' to others and that is exactly what this Giving Spree is opposed to. This is a real and exciting chance that God has given us to be able to make connections for the Kingdom.
We were blessed with $1500 dollars, so that means we have to find a way to give out $750. This is way more than I expected, so it might be a bit of a challenge.
First thing we're doing is throwing a neighborhood party on May 24th. I want to try and shake up that closed off suburban cul-de-sac mentality thats so prevalent where we live. After that, its a big unknown for us. I've got a few ideas, but nothing concrete yet.
Anyone else have any good ideas for how we can blow the remaining $500 or so that we'll have left?

How are you getting the word out in your neighborhood? Flyers? knocking on doors? I'm Contemplating flying in for the day to come to the party haha. Would there be home baked cookies or brownies?
I'm sure you can guess who this is.
Thank you sir. Is my fersamide ready yet?
Yeah.. I can totally guess who this is.. We've put up flyers on the mailbox and we're mailing out postcards this week. So that will hopefully put people on notice.
Then when they see the big moon bounce and the awesome cooking and cookies, hopefully they'll come over and say HI!
