Speaking of Jesus for President

I just wrapped up reading this book last week and all in all, I really enjoyed it. It's pretty dense, so it took me a while to read through the whole thing, but it was worthwhile.

First off it was one of the most beautiful books I have ever read.  Every page is a work of art.  The entire book is fully illustrated with the text weaving in and out of and integrating with the art on each page.

The central theme of the book is about redefining our relationship to government and the rest of the world in terms of being citizens of  the Kingdom of Heaven.  I can't fully articulate everything clearly here in such a small space, but I would strongly recommend this book to everyone that reads this blog.

I'm really enjoying reading this blog...Many thanks to Jason for sharing his thoughts so candidly... And the funny thing is that I too have checked that book out of the Cecil County library.

Hey thanks Nina.. do you have it on reserve? I need to return it to the Perryville branch on my way home from work one of these days :)

Interesting. I reserved a copy at my local library. It would be nice if the book tried to sway people away from the fascist theocracy this country is slowly becoming.
